We believe that companies have a responsibility to positively impact the communities in which they operate. The Tarlton Foundation is focused on two main areas of impact:

Advancing Cancer Research

We contribute and raise new funds in support of cancer research and programs that support those living alongside cancer, that increase the velocity of discovery, and that significantly improve long-term cancer survival rates.

Fostering Education

As a resident and active corporate citizen in the communities in which we operate, we partner with local schools and nonprofits to inspire and support the next generation of scientists and our future colleagues in the life sciences community.

Tarlton
Foundation

Founded in 2019, the Tarlton Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on health, wellness, and educational initiatives. The organization has become a growing community movement since originating with the philanthropic efforts of John Tarlton and Tarlton Properties to support cancer research. The Tarlton Foundation supports a number of initiatives in its work, with a key focus on innovations in cancer research and supporting the next generation of scientists from our community.

Tarlton Properties is a commercial real estate developer, owner, and property manager in the San Francisco Bay Area, serving start-up and established enterprises in the biotech, life science, and technology sectors. Tarlton Properties’ flagship property, Menlo Park Labs, is a lively hub and renowned incubator where life science companies gather to invent the future.
