The Tarlton Foundation Deepens Local Impact with New Scholarships in 2021

Menlo Park, Calif. - February 4, 2022: The Tarlton Foundation, the non-profit arm of Tarlton Properties, today shared highlights of its impact in the local community in 2021, including new scholarship programs, grants for cancer research, and continued support of local organizations.

Founded in 2019, the Tarlton Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on health, wellness, and educational initiatives. The Tarlton Foundation supports a number of initiatives in its work, with a key focus on innovations in cancer research and supporting the next generation of scientists from the local community.

Highlights of the Tarlton Foundation’s’ 2021 impact include:

In the three years since its inception, the Tarlton Foundation has raised and donated nearly $350,000 to benefit cancer research, and donated or pledged more than $150,000 to local organizations, touching tens of thousands of lives through participation in scholarship programs, blood drives, food drives, toy drives, and community events.

“2021 was an exciting year for the Tarlton Foundation, as we deepened our ties to the community through two new scholarship programs for Belle Haven students,” said Elizabeth Krietemeyer, president of Tarlton Foundation and senior vice president of operations at Tarlton. “While the pandemic continued to pose a challenge to hosting many in-person community events, it was a perfect time to turn our focus towards expanding our education initiatives. We look forward to developing additional programs in 2022 to further our impact in the community.”
